If you wish to learn the basics of video editing and create some great videos using their basic tools, this is a great choice (for Windows). Plus, what happens when you want to refresh a video made a month before the subscription expired using multiple themes? You are stuck either purchasing the themes or having to redo everything with the basics. They do give you the option to subscribe to ALL the themes for $99/annually, however, again this adds up quickly. So if you purchase a few themes, the software price suddenly goes from entry level to semi-professional. A simple theme pack (which includes a few backgrounds, stickers, and transitions) will set you back between $10 and $40. I refer to their software as a depreciating asset, because in order to expand your collection of themes you pay an exorbitant premium. Where I take issue with Movavi, is their incessant pricing strategy. I was able to produce a video that everyone in my organization says looks very professional. Once you learn the basics, you can do some really neat things. Software: As someone who is new to video editing (virtually NO experience), I find the software to be quite intuitive and easy to use. I cannot speak for the technical team, as I have had no issues with crashing or functionality after a month of use. The representative was courteous and professional. They responded in less than 4 hours, allowing me to do just that, with no hassles.

I reached out to see if they would allow me to upgrade by only paying the difference in the initial purchase. After a few weeks, I decided that I wanted to do Screen Capture (which requires the suite). I have also had an interaction with their customer support team, and had no issues.Ĭustomer Support: I reached out to them because I purchased the Plus version thinking I did not need the features of the Video Suite. As the base software is concerned, I find that Movavi is a great value.
